Get to the top of Google
Every website owner wants to see their website in the top 10 of Google's organic search results the problem is how to achieve this. Every business owner will receive emails from companies promising quick results and assurances that they can get your website found, the problem is can you believe them and should you take the financial risk to find out.
As commonly known in the web fraternity there are two basic ways you can climb the Google ladder. The Black Hat Way or the White Hat Way
What's the difference
Well that's quite a complex question to answer simply but putting it in easy terms the Black Hat way is generally using techniques that are on the line of acceptance by Google and in many cases on the wrong side of the line. As Google constantly strive to improve and strengthen their indexing systems and search algorithm to ensure that the results match exactly the searchers needs it is inevitable that many SEO practitioners will endeavour to beat the system and try to disguise their tactics in such ways so as to obtain quick results for you.
The down side to you is more than just financial loss it can be catastrophic if Google uncovers the black hat techniques which you have paid for to try and cheat their systems. The simple result will be that one morning you will look on Google to find that your site has simply disappeared from the rankings and worse still removed from their database all together. This will happen WITHOUT ANY WARNING and no matter how many emails you send to Google to ask for an explanation these will fall on deaf ears and you will only receive [if your lucky] a pre prepared email directing you to the Google guide for webmasters.
I have seen this happen to several web owners who have contacted our company in a panic asking for help as they feel they have done nothing wrong and cant understand why their site has been removed, dropped or apparently black listed.
The company that provided the SEO service merely shrug their shoulders and have spent your money and certainly wont give it back so not only have you spent hundreds if not thousands of pounds or dollars for a brief period of time you may have enjoyed the fruits of being highly listed in the top 20 but now your world has turned black as was the techniques employed to get those false results.
