The Internet came to life in the United States during 1994 and that year saw the birth of two of the worlds now largest internet search companies namely Yahoo and MSN.
MSN was the brainchild of Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates who was already a computer and software billionaire and the launch of www.msn.com was a natural extension into the new industry of communication the internet which would be a platform for his successful windows operating system.
