For those of you who are not familiar with what a blog is let me explain. The Term Blog comes from the words Web Log or diary. A blog is a record of events or diary updated on a regular basis either every day or weekly or as and when news occurs that requires a mention.
A typical blog can either be an individual’s opinions and views on a subject or topic of discussion or a company blog.

A company or business blog would be published on a website usually on the home page to publish news worthy statements / headline that would link through to articles that carried the full story if the reader was interested to read more.

Creating a blog for your business website is a great way to attract the Google spider bots to revisit your site as they also act as ‘Google Bait’ to attract them to read and index your latest pages you have published.
The main thing you have to remember is to update the blog on a regular basis either daily, weekly or as and when you have newsworthy stories otherwise it will be a waste of time and actually be a negative drain which displays old news and who wants to read old news.
