Unlike Many Other Web Design, Development & SEO Companies For the following good reasons

This notice is primarily intended for third party developers or web design companies based outside the United Kingdom. PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT OUTSOURCE.

We are continually approached every day by email and by phone from companies in developing nations predominantly in India offering us cheap deals on web design and development work and SEO. Whilst these companies may well be technically proficient we are not interested in such offers because of the following reasons good reasons:-

  • We prefer to support talented UK graduates in the UK, and to offer employment to UK resident workers irrespective of race, creed or colour.
  • By employing UK workers this directly helps UK employment and protects UK incomes.
  • By employing UK residents who pay tax in the UK this helps to support our economy recover from one of the worst recessions since the great depression.
  • From a technical point we prefer to be in control of all code creation in-house so that we know how it was created who created it and where to look through hundreds of lines of code to rectify a problem if it occurs with a client’s website.
  • By keeping work in-house we do not have to deal with time zone difference for communication and can respond to clients requests without having to refer to a third party or delay the response to the client.
  • We prefer to be honest about charging the client a fair and competitive rate for our work. We do not think it is ethical to charge a UK rate and then outsource the work to lower cost workers overseas and pocket the difference. We think this practice which is appears to be widespread is both unethical and unfair to the client to do so.
  • If a client chooses directly to engage the services of non UK workers then this is their prerogative and their choice. It is their right to choose.
  • As a responsible UK employer White Hat prefers to engage workers here in the UK, that’s our choice for the good reasons mentioned above and we believe for the benefit of the client.
